HOW TO GET TO US
To reach San Cristobal Island, you have a few options depending on your starting point.
It’s important to note that to visit the Galapagos Islands, you need to arrange your trip through a registered tour operator and obtain a Galapagos National Park entrance permit. Additionally, there may be specific COVID-19 travel restrictions and requirements in place, so it’s advisable to check with the local authorities and tour operators for the latest information before planning your trip.
Flying
Fly from Quito or Guayaquil: The most common and convenient way to get to San Cristobal is by taking a domestic flight from either Quito or Guayaquil. There are regular flights operated by airlines such as TAME and Avianca. The flight duration is approximately 2 hours from Quito and 1 hour from Guayaquil.
Ferry
Take a ferry from Santa Cruz: If you are already on Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos, you can take a ferry to San Cristobal. The ferry ride takes around 2-3 hours, depending on the sea conditions and the type of ferry. It’s advisable to check the ferry schedule in advance and book your ticket in advance, especially during high season.
